Be a Docent
Experience Tudor Place from the inside by joining our docent community! Enjoy working and learning with enthusiastic staff and fellow docents. Training is provided to enable you to share with visiting public the stories, collections, and resources of this great urban estate. Optional monthly brown-bag lunches with staff, experts, and fellow volunteers offer ongoing education and discussion. Flexible hours; parking provided.

Assist in the Gardens
Support Tudor Place with your hands! Work and learn with our garden staff to maintain the historic landscape. Volunteers gather Mondays and/or Fridays, choosing 9:30–11:30 a.m. or 1:30–3:30 p.m. (Varying schedules can be arranged, depending on skill level.) Tasks may include weeding, dead-heading, seed collecting, mulching, and pruning, all with expert guidance, working in groups sometimes and independently at others. Whether you're new to it or have been gardening for years, this is an excellent opportunity to learn about horticulture and landscape preservation.
