Public Engagement

Archaeology routinely captivates visitors to Tudor Place. Through exposure to the immediacy of a dig underway, or exploring its findings, students, families, educators, and the general public can experience the excitement of recovering unique fragments or features sometimes “hidden” underground for more than 100 years. Excavations are open to the public year-round and guests can learn from archaeologists and Tudor Place staff about recent projects and discoveries. For occasional lectures, and workshops, and other programs, see our Calendar.
