Volunteers are a mainstay!
Join us to get out in the fresh air, find others who appreciate natural beauty, and learn new skills.
Tudor Place garden volunteers support the garden staff with upkeep of the 5½-acre historic estate on Wednesdays (1:30–3:30 p.m.) and Fridays (9:30-11:30 a.m.); other time slots can be arranged, depending on volunteers' skill level. The range of tasks includes weeding, deadheading, seed collecting, nursery work, mulching, and pruning. Volunteers should be comfortable working in groups and independently. It’s an excellent way for new gardeners and those who have been doing it for years to learn about horticulture and the challenges of landscape preservation.
